What makes these houses a "secret escape"?
They sit inside a private nature reserve with only three houses on the cliff and in the forest. No televisions, minimal phone signal and no crowds — just forest, fynbos and ocean on your doorstep.
Will I have Wi-Fi and phone reception?
Every house has uncapped Wi-Fi, while cell reception is minimal. Most guests quickly decide that's part of the point.
When is the best time for whale watching?
Southern right whales are usually in the bay from June to November, with dolphins, seabirds and other wildlife around all year.
How do I get there?
The reserve is less than 15 km from George Airport, a short drive from Victoria Bay and Wilderness. Car hire can be arranged nearby.
Are the houses fully self-catering?
Yes. Each house has a fully equipped kitchen — quality appliances, dishwasher, Nespresso machine — plus a gas braai on the deck.
